Job summary

Metro Global is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive European Road Freight sales and grow our commercial network. You will identify opportunities, develop tailored logistics solutions, and work with an integrated team to deliver value for customers across air, ocean and road freight.

You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding, lead negotiations, and present compelling proposals to clients.

Qualifications

Experience in Air Freight, Ocean Freight or Freight Forwarding sales.
Proven track record of generating and securing new business.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Identify, target and win new business opportunities across Air and Ocean Freight.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.
Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding and negotiations.
Deliver customer meetings, presentations and commercial proposals.
Prepare pricing proposals, RFQs and tender submissions.
Collaborate with operational teams to tailor logistics solutions.
