Job summary

ALS Recruiting Ltd is seeking an experienced European Road Freight Business Development Manager to join a global logistics business. The role focuses on generating and winning new European road freight business, spanning Groupage, LTL/Part Load and FTL solutions across the UK and Europe.

You will build and manage your sales pipeline, close deals, and coordinate with operations to deliver competitive freight solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within European Road Freight sales.
• Strong understanding of UK and European road freight markets.
• Experience selling Groupage, LTL/Part Load and FTL solutions.
• Existing customer relationships and industry contacts would be highly advantageous.

We are looking for an experienced European Road Freight Business Development Manager to join a well known global logistics business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven freight sales professional who understands the European Road Freight market and has a track record of developing and winning new business.

The Role:

• Generate and win new European Road Freight business


• Develop opportunities across Groupage, Part Load and Full Load (FTL)services


• Build and manage your own sales pipeline


• Target import and export customers across the UK and Europe


• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing and account development


• Work closely with operations to deliver competitive and reliable freight solutions

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience within European Road Freight sales


• Strong understanding of UK and European road freight markets


• Experience selling Groupage, LTL/Part Load and FTL solutions


• Existing customer relationships and industry contacts would be highly advantageous


• A strong track record of winning and developing profitable accounts


• Commercially driven, proactive and confident in generating new business

• Competitive Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission
