Job summary

Plaid is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to join its Europe sales team. You will own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to close, engaging product, engineering, and executive stakeholders to drive partnerships across Europe.

You’ll build a scalable pipeline from inbound and outbound activity while collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance Plaid’s fintech platform. The role emphasizes consultative selling with technical and commercial stakeholders and shaping Plaid's

Qualifications

• 4+ years of end-to-end sales experience in quota-carrying, closing roles.
• Demonstrated success leading consultative, highly technical sales motions (ideally £75k+ ACV).
• A track record of engaging product, engineering, and executive leaders.
• A history of consistently meeting and exceeding performance targets.
• Exceptional communication skills coupled with a deeply collaborative approach.
• Deep enthusiasm for fintech and an up-to-date understanding of market developments.

Responsibilities

• Pinpoint and secure commercial partnerships with rapidly scaling organisations throughout Europe.
• Manage the complete end-to-end sales motion, from initial prospecting and qualification through to final contract execution and handover.
• Advise product and engineering leaders through technical assessments of Plaid's platform and suite of solutions.
• Build and sustain a robust pipeline across both inbound leads and targeted outbound engagement.
• Partner closely with cross-functional colleagues – including Account Management, Sales Engineering, Risk, and Product – to execute complex transactions.
• Champion Plaid's mission and value proposition across the broader fintech landscape and adjacent sectors.
• Help refine and scale our mid-market go-to-market playbooks and operational standards in a fast-growing region.
