Job summary

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Digital End User Computing Engineer to support Digital Deployment and IT Service Desk services. You will provide 2nd line end-user computing support across BAU, projects and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure in collaboration with service desk, infrastructure and third parties.

Responsibilities

• 2nd Level support for BAU team and delivery of projects and base image management.
• Liaise with IT Service Desk, Infrastructure and 3rd parties for resolutions.
• Respond to service desk tickets efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Use remote management software to assist with complex issues.
• Manage change, problem and incidents and escalate to the Technical Services Manager - EUC.
• Provide cyber security tasks including vulnerability scanning and OS hardening.
• Assist in analysis, diagnostics and problem resolution, testing hardware and software.
• Assist in pre-deployment configuration of IT desktop devices including asset labelling and security marking.
• Assist in periodic IT asset audits and maintenance of device fleets.
