Job summary

Core Group in London is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in RC Frame, Groundworks and Civils to join the team. The role focuses on preparing competitive tenders and cost plans for a range of projects.

You will review drawings and specifications, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and contribute to the company's growth through accurate estimates and timely bid submissions. Office-based role in London offering a salary of £70,000-£80,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have proven Estimator experience in RC Frame, Groundworks and Civils.
• Experience with M&E and Data Centre projects beneficial.
• Ability to prepare accurate and competitive tenders and cost plans.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and subcontractor pricing.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications and project requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with a strong background in RC Frame, Groundworks and Civils, ideally with additional experience across M&E and Data Centre projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive and accurate tenders, working closely with the wider commercial and project teams to support the company's continued growth.

Key Experience Required

• Proven experience working as an Estimator within the construction industry
• Strong estimating experience across RC Frame, Groundworks and Civils
• Experience with M&E projects, particularly Data Centres, would be highly beneficial
• Ability to prepare accurate and competitive tenders and cost plans
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and subcontractor pricing
• Ability to review drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Confident communicating with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively
