Job summary

PHD Recruitment is seeking an Estimator for a well-established RC frame and groundworks contractor in London. You will develop cost estimates for projects from £1m to £25m and collaborate with pre-construction, commercial, and operations teams to secure tender submissions.

The role requires 3–5 years of estimating RC frame and groundworks, strong reading of drawings and cost analysis skills, and proficiency in Conquest/Causeway software. A competitive package awaits the right candidate.

About Us

My client are a well-established and fast-growing contractor specializing in reinforced concrete (RC) frames and groundworks across London. With a proven track record of delivering complex civil engineering and structural packages on time and within budget, we're looking to expand our commercial team with an experienced and driven Estimator.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new projects and ensuring accurate and competitive tender submissions. You will work closely with the pre-construction, commercial, and operational teams to develop cost estimates for RC frame and groundwork packages ranging from £1m to £25m.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for RC frame and groundwork projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers for pricing.
• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings.

Requirements
