Job summary

Enable Resourcing Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a growing pre-construction team delivering RC Frame, Civil Engineering, Rail and Structural Alterations projects across the UK. The role focuses on tender preparation and delivery.

You will review drawings, identify risks and value engineering opportunities, and prepare competitive cost estimates while coordinating with commercial and operations.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.

• The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience delivering estimates for medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

• Obtaining and analysing quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Working closely with commercial, operational and pre-construction teams.
• Supporting bid strategy and tender presentations.
• Ensuring tender submissions are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

Our client is a leading specialist contractor delivering complex projects across the UK within the RC Frame, Civil Engineering, Rail and Structural Alterations sectors.

Due to continued growth and a strong forward order book, they are seeking to appoint experienced Senior Estimators to join their established pre-construction team.

The Role

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in the preparation and delivery of competitive tenders across a diverse portfolio of major infrastructure and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Identifying project risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.

Requirements

Applicants should have previous Senior Estimator experience within one or more of the following sectors:

• RC Frame & Groundworks
• Civil Engineering
• Rail Infrastructure
• Structural Alterations
• Demolition & Enabling Works

You will also have:

• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience delivering estimates for medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
