Job description

We are looking for an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

We are a well-established, family run building company based in North Yorkshire.

Our portfolio is mainly in the residential market and can range from a single storey extension to a multi-million pound new build, extension and restoration project.

This is an office-based role at our premises based just outside Northallerton.

Requirements

A valid UK driving licence

Background in residential and commercial construction projects

Excellent organisation skills and proficient in Microsoft Office

The ability to work efficiently and precisely to deadlines

A team player with an adaptable approach

Responsibilities

Pricing projects from first principles

Issuing and managing enquiries to suppliers and sub-contractors

Assist in preparing, developing and monitoring programmes

Tender adjudication with Managing Director

Post tender queries and negotiations

Monthly valuations on successful contracts

Liaising directly with clients, site staff and sub-contractors throughout the project
