Job Opportunity: Estimator / Quantity Surveyor - Sunderland City Council

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Sunderland City Council for the role of Estimator / Quantity Surveyor within Property Services.

The role will be responsible for providing an efficient and comprehensive Estimating and Quantity Surveying service for new construction and refurbishment projects, serving both commercial and domestic clients. Collaboration is essential, as this role involves working within the Technical and Operational Team within Property Services, as well as with colleagues across the Local Authority and partner organizations.

The successful candidate will have:

1. Education to ONC/HNC level or equivalent in a construction-related field.
2. A proven track record in estimating and quantity surveying, including preparing financial information for external parties, and administering contract documentation and payment applications.
3. Demonstrable experience with asbestos management procedures.
