Job Opportunity: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Calibre Search has a new role available for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor based in Leeds City Centre.

The company provides a range of services including project management, quantity surveying, and Employers Agent work on various high-profile commercial and residential projects.

In this role, you will partner with and assist Associates and Directors on various tasks, supporting your progression towards MRICS Chartered status.

They are particularly interested in speaking with Quantity Surveyors who have post-degree experience, especially those familiar with cost planning or Employers Agent services within a consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

1. Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
2. Interact professionally with clients at all levels
3. Maintain attention to detail and flexibility in all work matters
4. Provide Pre & Post Contract services, including Final Accounts, BOQs, and measurements
5. Engage in project management, Employers Agent services, on-site travel, and inspections
6. Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related RICS-accredited qualification
7. Have previous experience in a construction environment, preferably within consultancy or client-side roles
