Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking an Estimator to join a reputable civil engineering and infrastructure contractor in the UK. You will review tender documentation, collaborate with the supply chain to produce accurate bids, and prepare budget costings for bids and tenders.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in quantity surveying, be conversant with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and listed estimating software, and have main contracting experience along with strong communication and organisational

Qualifications

• Educated to degree qualification in quantity surveying
• Experience with Estimating Software packages
• Experience in Civil Engineering/Utilities/Infrastructure sectors

Responsibilities

• Review tender documentation
• Work with supply chain to provide accurate tenders
• Review supply chain tender returns
• Preparation of budget costings
• Providing sales and estimating documentation
• Working directly with the clients
• Internal QA handover packs following contract awards
• Attendance of internal pre-start meetings following contract awards

We are working with a well established and reputable construction contractor who are looking for an Estimator to join their business working on Civil Engineering and Infrastructure projects.

The ideal individual will have experience of working within the Civil Engineering, Utilities or Infrastructure industry.

Roles, responsibilities and qualifications

• Review of tender documentation

• Working with supply chain to provide accurate tenders
• - Experience of Estimating Software packages
• Review of supply chain tender returns
• Preparation of budget costings

• Providing sales and estimating documentation

• Working directly with the clients

• Internal QA handover packs, subsequent to contract awards

• Attendance of internal pre-start meetings, subsequent to contract awards

• Educated to degree qualification in quantity surveying
