Job summary

Professional Personnel Management Ltd is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its pre-contract team in the UK. You will prepare competitive tenders, cost estimates and quantify labour, plant and materials for projects across energy, industrial and commercial sectors.

The role involves reviewing drawings, specifications and contract conditions, working with clients, subcontractors and operations teams from enquiry to contract award, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within civil engineering, construction or building.
• Experience across industrial buildings, drainage, concrete structures and civil engineering.
• Knowledge of first-principles estimating and subcontract procurement.
• Familiarity with NEC3, JCT or ICE contracts would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with CESMM or other measurement methods.

Responsibilities

You will prepare competitive tenders and detailed cost estimates, working closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and operational teams from enquiry through to contract award.
