Job summary

The Company is seeking a Sales Estimator to join the commercial team. This role combines engineering knowledge with customer interaction, reviewing drawings and preparing quotations for laser cutting and folded components.

You’ll work closely with production and customers to understand requirements, solve problems and deliver orders from enquiry through to completion, while training on a new MRP system and developing long-term career prospects.

• Strong IT skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations for laser cutting and folded components.

Job Description

Are you an engineering professional looking to move into a commercial role? This Sales Estimator opportunity offers a fantastic chance to combine technical knowledge with customer interaction in a varied and rewarding position.

As Sales Estimator, you'll review engineering drawings, prepare quotations for laser cutting and folded components, communicate directly with customers and ensure projects are delivered successfully from enquiry through to order.

The Sales Estimator will work closely with production and customers to understand requirements, solve problems and build strong working relationships. You'll also become one of the first users of the company's new MRP system, receiving full training as part of the implementation.

This Sales Estimator position is ideal for someone from fabrication, sheet metal, laser cutting, CAD, manufacturing or junior engineering who enjoys both technical work and customer communication.
