Job summary

Manpower UK, recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company, seeks an experienced Estimator to join their team in Blaenavon. You will prepare quotations, review customer specs, and liaise with suppliers and production to develop competitive proposals.

The role includes leading the spare parts sales function and supporting growth by identifying opportunities to increase revenue across international markets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for engineering projects.
• Review customer specifications and technical requirements.

Location: Blaenavon Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced Estimator to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded individual with an engineering background who can confidently prepare quotations, manage customer enquiries, and support business growth. The successful candidate will also take a leading role in developing the company's spare parts sales division, building relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.

Working within a specialist engineering environment, you'll support projects supplied to clients across the Middle East and other international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for engineering projects
• Review customer specifications and technical requirements
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, engineering and production teams to develop competitive proposals

Requirements

• Previous experience in an Estimator, Quotations, Internal Sales, Sales Engineer, or Commercial Engineering role
• Experience preparing quotations within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Strong commercial awareness and customer service skills
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
