Job summary

Profiles Personnel is recruiting an office-based Technical Sales Estimator for a long-established manufacturing business. You will interpret technical drawings, prepare accurate quotations and liaise with customers to tailor solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Salary is c.£27k–£28k depending on experience, with on-site parking. Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence and possess strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.
• Strong numerical skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Solid computer skills including Excel are essential; SAP Business One is a bonus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• A proactive, conscientious, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• A customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver high-quality service.

Due to business growth we are delighted to be partnering with a well-established business within the manufacturing industry to recruit an office-based Technical Sales Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and detail-oriented individual to join a growing team in a role that blends technical understanding with customer engagement.
As a Technical Sales Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting both new and existing business by preparing accurate and competitive quotations. You'll work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to interpret technical requirements, analyse costs, and deliver tailored solutions.
