Job summary

White-Recruitment is seeking a Technical Estimator in the UK to join a leading engineering manufacturer. You will produce accurate costings from drawings, price raw materials and negotiate supplier pricing to keep projects competitive.

The role involves interpreting machining processes, calculating labour and component costs, and collaborating with engineering, production and purchasing to deliver value without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Requires strong engineering or machine shop background.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and machining processes.
• Experience estimating or costing manufactured components.
• Knowledge of metals, commodity pricing and manufacturing techniques.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• ERP experience (Syteline advantageous).

Responsibilities

Salary: GBP35000 - GBP45000 per annum + + company benefits

I'm looking for a Technical Estimator to join a leading UK engineering manufacturer where your technical knowledge will directly influence multi-million-pound projects.

You'll work closely with engineering, production and purchasing teams to produce accurate costings, negotiate the best value with suppliers and help drive cost improvements without compromising quality.
