Job summary

Fawkes & Reece are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their Barnsley team within a leading fit-out and refurbishment contractor. You will be responsible for cost estimates for projects up to £10m, focusing on delivering value through in-house analysis.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years estimating experience on fit-out/refurbishment schemes, preferably with drylining & partitions, plus a valid UK driving license. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years estimating experience.
• Experience on fit out/refurbishment projects up to £3m+ (preferably drylining & partitions).
• Valid UK driving license.
• Relevant construction degree or qualification.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed quotations, raise purchase orders, manage project budgets and approve supplier invoices.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for refurbishment projects.
• Develop comprehensive and accurate estimations & presentations.
• Source new products and suppliers as needed.
• Contribute to building systems that streamline processes.

As Estimator you would play a key part of the thriving pre-construction team, responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for fit out and refurbishment projects, typically ranging up to £10m. Providing a unique in-house approach delivering value and expertise in maximising offices into residential spaces with consistently high quality project delivery.
