Job summary

ST Talent Ltd is partnering with an established contractor to recruit an Estimator for our Leeds office. You will prepare robust time and cost estimates for new work enquiries and lead the pricing of diverse opportunities, from £20,000 to £1,000,000, across schools, universities, healthcare, bespoke builds and warehouses.

You will independently visit sites, engage with public sector procurement, work with senior management to secure future business, and bring experience from refurbishment,

Qualifications

• Experience as an estimator for a main contractor in refurbishment, maintenance, fit-out or new-build environments.
• Solid knowledge of public sector procurement and tendering procedures.
• Experience using estimating software and tender management platforms (Simpro desirable).
• Ability to undertake site visits and assess project requirements independently.

ST TALENT is partnering with an established, respected medium-sized main contractor to find a skilled Estimator for their Leeds office. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will prepare robust time and cost estimates for new work enquiries.

The role involves pricing a diverse range of opportunities, including:

• High-value, long-term contracts and framework agreements
• One-off projects typically ranging from £20,000 to £1,000,000
• Diverse sectors including schools, universities, healthcare, bespoke builds, and warehouses

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of accurate, competitive time and cost estimates.
