Job summary

Fawkes & Reece are seeking an experienced Estimator to join the Barnsley team of a leading fit-out/refurbishment contractor. The role focuses on producing detailed cost estimates for high-value refurbishment projects and supporting the pre-construction phase with accurate cost planning.

You will work within a collaborative team, delivering value through precise estimations, supplier coordination, and up-to-date market insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years estimating experience.
• Experience on fit out / refurbishment projects up to £3m+. (Preferably Drylining & partitions)
• Valid UK driving license.
• Relevant construction related degree or qualification.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed quotations, raise purchase orders, manage project budgets and approve supplier invoices.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for refurbishment projects.
• Develop comprehensive and accurate estimations & presentations.
• Source new products and suppliers as needed.
• Contribute to building systems that streamline processes.

As Estimator you would play a key part of the thriving pre-construction team, responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for fit out and refurbishment projects, typically ranging up to £10m. Providing a unique in-house approach delivering value and expertise in maximising offices into residential spaces with consistently high quality project delivery.
