Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Senior Estimating Lead to drive the estimating function for Mechanical and Electrical Building Services within Dalkia Engineering- Nuclear. You will provide strategic governance, commercial oversight, and technical guidance to estimators while ensuring high-quality, compliant tender submissions.

You will interface across operations, commercial, supply chain and clients, leading best-practice, resource allocation, and ongoing improvement to support growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior estimating or pre-construction leadership within Building Services or Construction.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and integrated MEP building services.
• Experience leading estimating teams on multiple tenders.
• Excellent commercial awareness and tender strategy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Mechanical and Electrical Estimators.
• Oversee tender preparation and governance across Mechanical, Electrical and MEP.
• Manage client relationships and provide bid/no-bid recommendations to senior leadership.
• Chair internal tender review meetings and challenge estimates for competitiveness.
• Support development of estimating standards and governance procedures.
• Represent estimating function with key stakeholders internally and externally.
