Job summary

EDF Energy Limited's Hinkley Point C project seeks an Estimating Lead to oversee the Mechanical and Electrical building services estimating function. You will report to the Senior Management Team and drive best practice, governance, and competitive tender submissions.

You will lead estimators, manage workload, and coordinate with operations, commercial teams, supply chain, and clients, ensuring compliant, timely tenders and strong cost control.

Qualifications

• Senior estimating leadership or pre-construction management within Building Services or Construction.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and integrated MEP systems.
• Experience leading estimating teams and managing multiple tender opportunities.
• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Building Services Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the estimating team for tenders.
• Ensure tender submissions are compliant, complete, and competitively priced.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, and clients to align estimates with contract requirements.
