Job summary

Cabot Learning Federation is seeking an experienced Estates Contracts Manager to join our Estates and Facilities team. You will oversee a diverse range of contracts, drive contractor performance, ensure compliance and deliver value across our growing network of schools.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Estates & Facilities, you will manage supplier relationships, maintain high service standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to support ongoing estate improvements across CLF.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Estates Contracts Manager to join our Estates and Facilities team. You will play a key role in overseeing a diverse range of estates contracts, driving contractor performance, ensuring compliance, and delivering excellent value and service standards across our estate. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of a diverse and evolving portfolio of estates contracts across the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF). As part of our dedicated Estates Contracts Team and reporting to the Deputy Director of Estates & Facilities, you will oversee a wide range of supplier relationships, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, compliantly and to a consistently high standard across our growing family of schools and educational settings. This is a varied, fast-paced and genuinely rewarding role, ideal for an experienced contract management professional with strong administrative and organisational skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will bring proven experience in contract management, supplier performance monitoring and compliance oversight, ensuring high standards of service delivery across the organisation.

About you:
  • Hold a recognised contract management qualification or can demonstrate a sound knowledge and experience of contract management practices, procedures and documentation.
  • Evidence a successful track record of delivering contracts that achieve measurable service improvements and added value.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of organisational structures, systems and processes.
  • Possess good literacy and numeracy skills, including GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent qualifications).
  • Have a sound understanding of GDPR requirements and best practice in relation to data protection compliance.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues, identify root causes and implement practical, effective solutions.
  • Be able to make informed decisions, exercising sound judgement to balance risk, safety and operational requirements.
