Job summary

Heckfield Place in Hampshire is seeking a Hotel Porter/Driver to welcome guests, assist with luggage and drive hotel vehicles around the estate. You will be among the first to greet guests and support the front office team.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be at least 25 years old. The role includes evenings and weekends, a base salary of £26,500, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence.
• Must be at least 25 years old due to insurance policy.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Carrying guests’ luggage to and from rooms
• Labeling all guest luggage and maintaining luggage room in a clean and tidy manner
• Supporting the front office team with check ins/outs and guest requests
• Use of Hotel vehicles for transporting guests around the estate and collection of guests from local train stations
• Maintenance & regular checks of hotel vehicles and bicycles
• Valet parking of guests vehicles
• To be responsible for placing the correct luggage in the correct room and notifying the manager upon completion.
• To be responsible for collecting luggage from the rooms of departing guests and placing it in the correct vehicle or labelling it and keeping it in the luggage room
• Have an open schedule that allows you to work evenings and weekends.
