Job summary

Sopwell House, a luxury Georgian country house hotel nestled in the Hertfordshire countryside, is seeking a confident Front of House Host to join our team in a full-time role.

You will greet guests, assist with luggage, park and retrieve vehicles, arrange taxis, and respond to guest queries with warmth and efficiency. A full, valid driving licence and hospitality experience in luxury settings are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous front-of-house or guest-facing experience, ideally in a luxury hotel.
• Full, valid driving licence for parking and valet duties.
• Excellent guest service and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and open doors with a warm welcome.
• Keep forecourt and lobby tidy and presentable.
• Assist guests with luggage and provide directions.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles and keep keys secure.
• Arrange taxis and support transport needs.
• Respond to guest queries and resolve complaints promptly.
• Cover night shifts and support Front Office team as needed.
