Tate & Harriss - Property Recruitment seeks a Lettings Negotiator for an Estate Agency client in Watford. The successful candidate will handle landlord/tenant enquiries, viewings, references and tenancy paperwork, delivering excellent service.

Ideal applicants will have Lettings Negotiator experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively while managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deal with Landlord and Tenant enquiries by phone and email.
• Prepare lettings particulars with the Valuer and email applicants.
• Arrange and conduct property viewings.
• Negotiate lets through to move-in.
• Reference potential tenants.
• Prepare Tenancy Agreements and notices.
• Provide applicants and landlords with regular feedback.
• Deliver high levels of customer service.
• Research and compile valuations for clients.
• Carry out market appraisals and win new business.
• Generate terms and conditions as required.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Lettings Negotiator for our Estate Agency client based in Watford.

The ideal candidate must have previous Lettings Negotiator experience.

Candidates must be a UK Resident and ideally live within a 30-minute commute of the area.

You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have the use of your own car.

Salary and benefits package for the role of Lettings Negotiator:

• Basic £25,000 - £26,000
• OTE £35,000 - £38,000 DOE including commission and bonuses
• Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm or 9am to 6.30pm, every Saturday 10am to 3pm with a day back in lieu
• 5 day working week

Responsibilities for the role of Lettings Negotiator:

• Dealing with Landlord and Tenant enquiries, answering phone calls and emails
• Preparation of lettings particulars, in conjunction with the Valuer, checking of background details and emailing relevant applicants when required
• Arranging /conducting property viewings
• Negotiating lets through to move in
• Referencing potential tenants
• Preparation of Tenancy Agreements and other legal notices
• Providing Applicants and Landlords with regular feedback
• Providing high levels of customer service
• Research and compile valuations as required for new, current and potential clients
• Carrying out Market Appraisals and winning new business
• Generating T&C's
