Job summary

Wye Valley NHS Trust is seeking a Workforce Information Assistant Apprentice to support the ESR system, maintain data quality, and produce regular reports for Nursing and Medical staff across Herefordshire and surrounding areas.

You will assist with data extraction, report generation, and ESR system administration. Full training on ESR will be provided; 5 GCSEs including English and Maths are required, with a focus on accuracy and data handling.

Qualifications

• Experience handling data and producing basic analyses.
• Strong numerical abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn ESR and data management processes.

Responsibilities

• Support ESR data maintenance and hierarchy updates to give managers access to staff data.
• Produce timely weekly/monthly/quarterly reports (starters, leavers, sickness, turnover, master staff lists).
• Assist in data quality/cleansing tasks to ensure accuracy of records.
• Provide basic system administration support for ESR and related systems, including password help.
