Job summary

Wilson James is recruiting an ESCC Manager to lead the Security Control Centre for a prestigious banking client. Based at the Liverpool Street location, you will drive service delivery, incident management and operational excellence while leading a team and implementing best practices.

The role requires prior security operations management experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with senior leaders. SIA/DS& CCTV knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in managing a busy regional Security Operations Centre/Control Centre environment.
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills for senior leadership.
• Reliability with punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness.
• Knowledge of physical security and risk incident management.
• SIA - DS/CCTV certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Security Control Centre to meet client and contractual expectations.
• Develop and improve operational procedures, standards and response protocols.
• Monitor threats and incidents using OSINT and trusted sources; provide timely reporting and escalation.
• Investigate complaints and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Assist Security Management with ad hoc tasks such as access control and security processes.

Based at the EMEA Headquarters of a prestigious international banking client, the Security Control Centre Manager
(SCCM) is responsible for leading the Security Control Centre operation, ensuring the highest standards of service
delivery, incident management, and operational excellence. The role is accountable for maintaining an effective
control centre function through strong leadership, continuous improvement, best practice implementation, and the
effective use of security technology.

About the Role:

As a ESCC Manager you will be responsible for:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Security Control Centre, ensuring service delivery meets client
  and contractual expectations.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational procedures, standards, and response protocols.
• Proactively monitor emerging threats and incidents in areas where the organisation has interests through OSINT
  and trusted intelligence sources, and provide timely reporting, escalation, and staff welfare checks to confirm the
  safety and status of affected personnel as required. Examples include terrorist attacks, civil unrest, armed
  conflict, transport disruption, natural disasters, public health emergencies, and other events that may impact
  personnel or operations.
• Investigate & escape all complaints, suggest corrective measures to prevent a re-occurrence.
• Assist Security Management/Client with reasonable ad hoc tasks. These may include but are not limited to
  access control, mail examination, escorting, searching and project work

What we are looking for:

• Hold excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 2 years' experience in managing a busy regional Security Operations Centre/Control Centre
  environment
• Experience in managing Physical Security and Risk incidents
• Hold excellent written communication and interpersonal skills to be able to communicate to senior leaders
• Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order
  to ensure team effectiveness and availability
