Job summary

Wilson James is looking for a Leading Officer to supervise the security control room and team at Sunbury-on-Thames. This permanent, full-time role requires monitoring CCTV, access control, conducting patrols, and managing incident responses.

You will maintain records, deliver courteous service, and support the safety of the site. A valid SIA licence and CCTV licence, plus experience in security operations, are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision or equivalent as required for the role).
• Valid CCTV Licence.
• Previous experience within a security operation or control room environment.
• Experience operating CCTV and access control systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and visitors.

Responsibilities

Hours: Full time, 42 hours a week, 4 on, 4 off, days 07:00 - 19:00 and nights 19:00 - 07:00
Pay: £17.42 ph

What we are looking for:

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision or equivalent as required for the role).
• Valid CCTV Licence.
• Previous experience within a security operation or control room environment.
• Experience operating CCTV and access control systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and visitors.
• Ability to remain calm, alert, and make effective decisions during incidents and emergencies.
• Good observational skills with the ability to identify and report risks and security concerns.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
