Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking an experienced escalator call-out and repair engineer to join our London Underground portfolio.

You will ensure passenger safety by maintaining a portfolio of escalator units across the TfL network, with 4 on 4 off 12-hour night shifts (7PM–7AM) and opportunities to earn overtime. You will need NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering, substantial service and maintenance experience, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering required.
• Significant experience in service and maintenance of escalators.
• Valid UK driving license required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
• Able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out breakdown and repair work on escalators within the portfolio to ensure continuous operation.
• Work within the London Underground network managing the escalator portfolio.
• Respond quickly to fix breakdowns with a focus on first-time fixes.
• Liaise with customers on site to build a productive working relationship.
