Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking an experienced escalator call-out and repair engineer to join our Transport for London team, covering the London Underground escalator portfolio. Your priority is passenger safety and reliable operation.

On a typical day you will carry out breakdowns, perform repairs, liaise with customers on site, and aim for first-time fixes while upholding safety and quality standards. We offer 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, pension and Life Assurance, paid maternity/paternity leave,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering.
• Experience in service and maintenance of escalators.
• Experience with a variety of brands.
• Hold a valid UK driving license.
• Flexibility with overtime.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
• Safety-focused professional with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out breakdown and repair work on escalators to maintain operation.
• Work within London Underground network, managing the portfolio of escalators.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to achieve first-time fix.
• Liaise directly with customers on site to build good working relationships.
