Job summary

Head Resourcing Ltd is seeking an IT Service Engineer for an onsite role in Livingston, Scotland. You will serve as an internal escalation point, coordinating with the Service Desk and network teams to drive incidents to resolution.

The role covers Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune and related technologies, with on-call duties and 5 days per week onsite in Livingston. A CCNA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in IT service or service desk within a busy enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
Solid networking fundamentals and ability to troubleshoot complex incidents.

Responsibilities

Act as escalation point for complex IT incidents and requests.
Troubleshoot and support laptops, desktops, mobiles and peripherals.
Manage hardware deployments, asset tracking and lifecycle activities.
Support Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365 environments.
Administer Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
Assist with VPN, remote access, Wi-Fi and broader connectivity issues.
Coordinate with third-party providers on escalations.
Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
Contribute to service improvements and new technology adoption.
