Job summary

Freightliner IML is seeking a Project Manager to lead the ERTMS strategy and ensure delivery across internal teams and third-party partners. You will act as the primary interface with Network Rail, aligning Freightliner’s requirements with rollout plans and securing funding to support safe, on-time implementation.

The role requires extensive rail project experience, strong governance, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder networks in a dynamic environment.

• Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or rail projects.
• Ability to shape delivery strategy in a complex external environment.
• Strong governance, planning and milestone management.

Responsibilities

• Define ERTMS delivery and contracting strategy for Freightliner IML.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver the programme on time, cost and quality.
• Manage relationships with Network Rail and external partners to secure funding.
