Freightliner Group Ltd seeks a Project Manager to lead the IML ERTMS programme, aligning Network Rail rollout plans with Freightliner’s commercial and operational priorities. You will chair governance, coordinate interfaces with Engineering, Operations and external partners, and steer a diverse, multidisciplinary team to deliver on time, cost, and quality targets.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of ERTMS / digital signalling is desirable.
• Understanding of rail operations, engineering and system integration.
• Ability to shape delivery strategy in a complex external environment.
• Strong commercial acumen, including contracting strategy, funding and cost control.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or rail projects.

Aufgaben

• Define and recommend the ERTMS delivery and contracting strategy for Freightliner IML.
• Translate national ERTMS developments into a deliverable Freightliner IML strategy.
• Ensure alignment with Freightliner priorities and Network Rail funding frameworks.
• Develop and maintain a robust, end-to-end project plan with milestones and deliverables.
• Lead and build the Freightliner IML ERTMS team in a matrix environment.
• Manage third-party delivery partners and ensure governance, reporting and risk controls.
