Job summary

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking an IT Support & Systems Technician for a client based in Leominster. The role covers day-to-day IT support and maintaining key systems, including the access platform and production IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will diagnose hardware/software/network issues, optimise ERP workflows, manage SQL databases, and develop simple automation tools. Ex-military applicants are encouraged, but all will be considered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support experience in a business environment.
• Strong hardware, networking and software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally Access.
• Ability to analyse workflows and improve processes.
• Experience with SQL databases and basic scripting for automation.
• Excellent communication and ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support across the company and maintain key systems.
• Set up, configure, and maintain computers and production IT equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of the Access platform and provide staff training.
• Analyse factory workflows and collaborate on process improvements.
• Develop basic scripts to automate tasks and improve ERP functionality.
