Job summary

The Best Connection in Leominster is seeking an IT & Systems Support Technician to join our team. This role combines hands-on IT support with ERP, SQL, Access, automation and process improvement.

You will set up and maintain computers and production systems, troubleshoot hardware and software, support dashboards and data management, and help staff get the most from our systems through training.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL, Access and ERP/MRP systems would be a bonus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Salary: £26.5k+ | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-5:00pm

Are you an IT enthusiast who loves solving problems, improving systems and making technology work smarter?

We're looking for an IT & Systems Support Technician to join our team in Leominster. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied role where no two days are the same, combining hands‑on IT support with ERP, SQL, Access, automation and process improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing hands‑on IT support across the business.


• Setting up and maintaining computers, equipment and production systems.


• Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.


• Supporting ERP/MRP, Microsoft Access and SQL databases.


• Improving workflows, systems and production processes.


• Developing tools and scripts to automate tasks and boost efficiency.

• Working with management, production teams and external software providers.


• Helping staff get the most from our systems through training and support.

What We're Looking For

Experience with SQL, Access, ERP/MRP systems or manufacturing environments would be a bonus, but most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys learning, solving problems and making a difference.
