Job summary

East West Rail is seeking an ERP Programme Lead to drive the end-to-end delivery of a major ERP implementation. The role sits in Corporate Services and reports to the Director of Finance, with potential growth of the supporting team as the programme scales.

You will oversee governance, benefits realisation and data migration across Finance, Procurement, HR and Payroll, while coordinating across executive and delivery teams in a hybrid work setup.

• Strong knowledge of Finance, Procurement, HR and Payroll processes.
• Exceptional programme leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong commercial, supplier and contract management capability.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Desirable: MSP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ.
• Desirable: Agile Project Management certification.
• Desirable: Change Management qualification such as Prosci, APMG or equivalent.
• Desirable: Relevant ERP vendor certifications.

Responsibilities

We are East West Rail, a nationally significant railway project delivering much-needed transport connections between Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge. We are driving a major enterprise transformation to migrate to a modern, integrated ERP solution linking Finance, Procurement, HR and Payroll, as well as the wider construction programme. This is a high-impact permanent hybrid role within our Corporate Services department. You will initially report to the Director of Finance, moving to a new Head of Transformation once appointed, and while the role starts without direct reports, we expect the team to grow as the programme scales.
