Job summary
The Financial Times is seeking an Engineering Lead for ERP Services to own the engineering, operation and evolution of our ERP technology estate. You will lead a team responsible for the health, resilience and performance of critical finance and enterprise processes.
You will translate business priorities into engineering plans, grow internal capability, and collaborate with Product, Finance and Architecture to steer long-term platform direction.
Qualifications
- Significant experience leading engineering teams for enterprise technology.
- Strong ERP platform or complex SaaS experience.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP platforms.
- Experience owning technology through its full lifecycle.
- Ability to translate business priorities into engineering plans.
Responsibilities
- Own the engineering, operation and evolution of FT's ERP technology capability.
- Lead ERP engineering team with clear accountability for health of platforms and services.
- Develop internal ERP capability and ownership within the team.
- Translate business priorities with Product and Finance into engineering plans.
- Ensure platform upgrades and significant changes are introduced safely and sustainably.
- Collaborate with Architecture and Principal Engineer on long-term direction.
