Job summary

James Fisher and Sons plc is seeking a Systems Support Analyst to maintain ERP and core business systems, ensuring reliability, data integrity and security. You will support Microsoft Business Central and IFS, resolve issues, and contribute to system improvements while coordinating with stakeholders across the business.

The role is full-time and maternity cover (12 months), remote with travel as required, with opportunities to deliver training and maintain clear documentation for end users.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central or IFS.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for ERP and core business systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and engage external partners as needed.
• Support system implementations, upgrades and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
• Deliver user training and maintain system documentation.
