Job summary

James Cropper, based on the edge of the Lake District, is seeking an ERP Support Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support our ERP and financial systems. You will work with manufacturing, finance and business functions to deliver effective system support and drive continuous improvement.

You will provide first and second-line support, manage user access and configuration, create guides and training, and contribute to upgrades and data reporting using SQL and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting ERP/financial systems and assisting a range of users.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• Experience creating documentation and delivering user training.
• Knowledge of ERP upgrades, migrations or implementation projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day ERP and financial system support and issue resolution.
• Assist system administration: user access, security roles, master data, configuration.
• Develop user guides, process docs and training materials.
• Deliver engaging training and onboarding sessions.
• Support upgrades, testing, data validation and system improvements.
• Investigate recurring issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Develop reports and queries using SQL and Power BI to support reporting needs.
