Job summary

Opus People Solutions Ltd seeks an experienced Systems Accountant to support the TechnologyOne ERP platform, ensuring robust financial system configurations, reporting, and budgeting processes. You will act as SME for TechnologyOne, managing access, reporting, and end-to-end financial system controls.

The ideal candidate has extensive ERP administration experience, professional accountancy qualifications, and the ability to liaise with finance, IT, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Systems Accountant, Finance Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on TechnologyOne ERP experience: User Access, Financials, AP, P&R, XLOne reporting.
• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the TechnologyOne ERP system.
• Manage user access controls, including new user setup, roles, profiles, and security categories.
• Support Financials Administration activities, including: Code hierarchy maintenance, Month-end processes, Year-end processes.
• Maintain Accounts Payable resource pools and related system administration.
• Administer P&R Billing and Debtors calendars.
• Develop and maintain XLOne reports and reporting solutions.
• Configure and support budget and forecasting models.
• Provide systems support, troubleshooting, and process improvement recommendations.
• Produce and maintain system documentation.
• Deliver user training and knowledge transfer where required.
• Support ongoing system enhancement and implementation projects.

Location: Midlands (Hybrid) Rate: £500 per day (Inside/Outside IR35 dependent on assessment) Contract Length: 6 Months

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Accountant to support the ongoing administration, optimisation, and development of the organisation's TechnologyOne ERP platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance systems professional with strong ERP administration experience to play a key role in supporting business-critical financial processes and system improvements.

The successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for TechnologyOne, ensuring the effective management of financial system configurations, user access, reporting, and budget management processes while supporting business users and stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the TechnologyOne ERP system.
• Manage user access controls, including new user setup, roles, profiles, and security categories.

• Proven experience working as a Systems Accountant, Finance Systems Analyst, or similar role.
