Qualifications

• Degree-level education and evidence of ongoing professional development.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent HR professional body certification.
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Ability to advise and support managers on staff issues.

Responsibilities

• Take operational lead in coordinating workforce management activities and report on progress.
• Use computer systems to ensure information quality and accessibility.
• Adhere to Improving Working Lives standards and Trust policies.
• Participate in annual performance appraisal and objective setting.
• Follow Health and Safety policies and promote a respectful, dignified workplace.
• Contribute to ER investigation management and investigations of varying complexity.
• Assess, plan and organise investigations; act as Lead Investigator; conduct witness interviews and take statements.
• Gather, record and securely retain evidence in line with policy and legislation.
