Job summary

Boels Rental in Gloucestershire is recruiting a Hire Controller to guide customers in selecting the right equipment for their projects, from excavators to power tools, and to manage inquiries, orders, and contracts from start to finish.

You will coordinate collections and returns, spot additional equipment opportunities, and resolve issues swiftly, while collaborating with colleagues to keep the branch welcoming and efficient.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles within hire/rental environments.
• Proficient with Windows applications and hire input systems.
• Full-time availability and a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on the right equipment for projects from excavators to power tools.
• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email and in-branch.
• Process rental orders, quotations and contracts accurately from start to finish.
• Coordinate equipment collections and returns, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
• Identify additional equipment and products that could benefit customers.
• Resolve customer queries and problems quickly and effectively.
• Work closely with colleagues to keep the branch organized and welcoming.
• Provide fast, professional and friendly service at every touchpoint.
