Job summary

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response Officer to support planning for EPRR risks, including adverse weather, major incidents, pandemics and CBRN. The role involves collaboration with the EPRR Manager to ensure readiness across Trust sites and partner agencies.

You will contribute to self-assessment and action planning, develop EPRR policies and procedures, and promote resilience, awareness and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Support the EPRR Manager to discharge duties under the CCA 2004 and NHSE EPRR Framework.
• Assist in annual self‑assessment against the EPRR Core Standards, including collection of evidence and action planning.
• Contribute to the development of STGH EPRR policies, plans and procedures to meet CCA 2004 and NHSE EPRR Framework.
• Collaborate with the EPRR Manager and Clinical Lead to build the EPRR Group and promote resilience within the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Work with the EPRR Manager to ensure appropriate operational response for incidents and service continuity.
• Support the EPRR Group forums and initiatives to build resilience and awareness across the Trust and wider group.
• Assist with developing and maintaining EPRR documents and evidence for assurance and compliance.
