Job summary

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response Officer to strengthen EPRR across its sites. The role supports the EPRR Manager, driving preparedness for major incidents, adverse weather, and pandemics, with occasional inter-site travel.

Based in Tooting, the post emphasizes delivering NHSE EPRR Framework requirements and building organisational resilience through collaborative governance and annual self-assessments.

Qualifications

• Planned emergency preparedness and response skills.
• Understanding of NHS EPRR frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support the EPRR Manager to ensure the Trust meets duties under the CCA 2004 and NHSE EPRR Framework.
• Assist in annual self-assessment against the EPRR Core Standards and develop improvement actions.
• Contribute to the development of EPRR policies, plans and procedures.
• Collaborate to support and develop the EPRR Group and promote resilience across the Trust.
