Job summary
The EPR Team is excited to announce a fantastic secondment opportunity to join the programme as our Outpatients Workflow and Operational Management Subject Matter Expert.
Our EPR Subject Matter Experts play a key role in implementing BHRUT's new EPR by acting as the subject specialist within their designated area of expertise, supporting the supplier and wider programme team with decision-making and workflow design.

We value enthusiasm for digital solutions, but technical IT skills are not essential. Your organizational knowledge and subject matter expertise are crucial for the programme's success.
All SME opportunities are secondments at your current band, with terms and conditions. The expected level is around B8a to B8c.
We welcome informal enquiries and advise all internal staff to discuss secondment opportunities with their line managers before applying.
The EPR SMEs will provide specialist expertise to support the introduction of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) for BHRUT. They will work closely with senior leaders, workstream teams, analysts, and our system supplier to influence workflow design and decision-making.
Using their expertise and knowledge of Trust processes, they will gather consensus data, facilitate feedback, and help shape future workflows within the EPR.

Education/Qualifications (Desirable): Project management qualifications or equivalent experience.
Experience/Knowledge (Essential): Substantial experience in the SME subject area.
Experience/Knowledge (Desirable): Experience with EPR systems and facilitating group discussions.
Skills/Abilities (Essential): Sound judgment, professional advice, and strong relationship-building skills.
