Job summary

Barron McCann Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the Maidstone region, visiting customer sites to install, service and repair EPoS and IT hardware. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and ensure minimal downtime while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a proactive engineer with strong communication skills, able to work independently on site and build relationships with high-profile customers. A full UK driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in field-based engineering (EPoS, IT or similar).
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communication with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair EPoS and IT hardware.
• Carry out proactive and scheduled maintenance visits.
• Diagnose faults and deliver fast, effective fixes.
• Provide basic user guidance and support when required.
• Deliver consistently high levels of customer service.
