Job summary

nGeneration is seeking a Field Service Engineer to visit customer sites and install, refurbish, and maintain EPoS equipment, tablets, digital boards, and other IT hardware. The role requires strong client interaction skills and the ability to troubleshoot on-site.

A clean UK manual driving licence is essential, and travel to client sites daily is expected, including overnight stays as required.

Qualifications

• 1 year IT support experience (preferred).
• 1 year EPOS experience (preferred).
• Willingness to travel to client sites daily.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit client locations daily for installation, refurbishment and maintenance of EPoS equipment and related IT hardware.
• Perform on-site equipment swap-outs to minimise downtime for clients.
• Set up Wi-Fi devices and diagnose faults in data network cables on-site.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and escalate when needed.
• Document all steps and obtain client sign-off before task completion; travel UK-wide as required.
