Job summary

Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is seeking a proactive 1st Line Support Technician to join our Newport-based team. You will respond to technical queries, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and provide remote software update support. Full training will be provided and strong IT knowledge is essential.

You will be the first point of contact, ensuring SLA compliance and clear communication with clients. A friendly, professional demeanor and punctuality are required to succeed.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Strong customer service skills and communication abilities.
Basic IT knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot.
Organised and able to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

Being the first point of call to respond to technical queries via phone & email.
Troubleshooting hardware & software issues.
Providing remote support for software updates and modifications.
Answering telephone and email inquiries within our SLA’s.
Providing clients with timely updates on the progress of their requests.
Logging calls on our CRM systems appropriately.
Collaborating with 3rd party suppliers.
