Job summary

Lloyd Recruitment - Epsom is seeking a proactive 1st Line Technician to join their IT support team. The role focuses on delivering first-line support, configuring devices and assisting users, with a clear path for progression.

Ideal candidates will have 12 months in 1st Line IT, familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Windows, and a UK driving licence. The position offers hybrid working with 1 day per week from home after probation, plus training and career development.

Qualifications

• Basic networking knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1st Line technical support via phone, email and ticketing systems
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues
• Supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services
• Setting up and configuring laptops, desktops and mobile devices
• Managing user accounts and permissions
• Escalating more complex issues to senior engineers when required
• Maintaining accurate ticket updates and documentation
• Delivering an excellent customer experience at every interaction
