We are working with a major global manufacturer of commercial floorcoverings, supplying flooring solutions to sectors including healthcare, specialist care, education, office, leisure, and social housing.

Our client seeks an Environmental & Sustainability professional to lead their UK team, overseeing energy, environmental, and sustainability processes, accreditations, and reporting activities for the Group.

The Environmental & Sustainability Manager will be responsible for:

• Understanding relevant legislation and regulations, current and upcoming.
• Monitoring and driving business processes to meet and exceed sustainability goals.
• Gathering, monitoring, and analyzing data for reporting.
• Business reporting such as SECR, ESOS, TCFD, SDS, Annual Reports, and Sustainability Reports.
• Engaging with industry, trade, or government bodies to influence standards and legislation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A genuine passion for environmental and sustainability issues, understanding their impact and preparing the business accordingly.
• Proven industrial experience in managing, monitoring, and reporting in this field.
• Strong experience in managing external partnerships to build trust and influence within the organization.
